LIBURD COLE PUBLIC REPORT TUESDAY

Senate President Almando "Rocky" Liburd and Sen. Donald "Ducks" Cole, the 24th Legislature liaison to Congress, will make a public report to the territory at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Senate chambers on St. Thomas on their trip to Washington, D.C. last week.
The two senators met with key members of Congress in order to pursue a V.I. Economic Stimulus Package which includes the return of the excise tax on gas; the effect of earned income credit on the territory; replacement of revenues lost in the elimination of the Foreign Sales Corporations; and the Medicaid cap.
According to the Legislature's Public Affairs office, the report will be televised on Channel 57, and broadcast over radio stations WIUJ on St. Thomas and WAXJ on St. Croix.
