GERS BOARD ELECTS FARROW AS NEW CHAIRMAN

The Government Employees Retirement System trustees board elected Carver Farrow as its new chairman at its monthly meeting Tuesday.
Farrow is the principal of Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School on St. Thomas and an active GERS member. He replaces the outgoing chairwoman, Corine D. King.
Leona Smith was re-elected as vice chairwoman of the GERS board; she works for the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs.
