SHOOTING DOWNTOWN TUESDAY AFTERNOON

St. Thomas police are investigating the latest shooting in downtown Charlotte Amalie.
Police were called Tuesday afternoon to a roadway that leads north from Back Street where the victim was struck by a single bullet to the back. The suspect reportedly made his getaway on a brown bicycle.
Police had no immediate comments on the motive for the mid-afternoon shooting.
They are asking anyone with information to call the VIPD Investigation Bureau at 774-4050 or 911.
