TURNBULL CELEBRATES 64TH BIRTHDAY

Gov. Charles W. Turnbull turned 64 on Friday.
He spent the day working but planned to celebrate his birthday over the weekend by attending several activities held in his honor by close friends.
Saturday night he attended the Hazelle Goodman performance at the Reichhold Center for the Arts to benefit WOW!, which stands for Wider Opportunities for Women, and got lots of birthday wishes from the sponsors and the audience.
Coordinator Sue Herzog thanked the governor for supporting the women's group, noting he'd postponed a family birthday gathering to be there.
