The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum will host two scientists who will give a talk on Penguin Science. The two Antarctic scientists, Viola Toniolo and Dr. Grant Ballard, have lived and worked on the last great wilderness continent for 21 years. They will talk about their experiences and take questions.  

Thrive Chiropractic will host the next St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours. There will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, The Famous Chamber $3 Bar, and a 50/50 raffle. Business After Hours encourages members and potential members to attend.

Cancer Support VI, sponsored by International Capital & Management Company, announces the next free presentation will be given by Dr. Kathryn Anderson, a naturopathic physician from Cancer Treatment Centers of America, (CTCA) in Tulsa, Okla.  She will talk on “Essential Oil Preparation.”

The St. Thomas Unit of the League of Women Voters will hold its Unit Meeting.

Synergy Fitness & Wellness Center will be hosting a monthly Diabetes Support Group, which will begin this Saturday. Kendall Kennedy, registered dietician, will lead the group.  It is free and open to the public. 

Orgnic Wast Farm will hold the next Health n’ Healing (Let’s Talk Health) Workshop. The guest educator for the evening will be Heru Ofori-Atta, who is the founder of Herbal Results Industries. Admission if free.

The 2017 annual Virgin Islands Developmental Disabilities Council Inc. meeting will convene. The community is invited to make comments during the public comment period at the start of the meeting.
