Summit for Parents of Special Ed, ELL Students

Fundraiser to Buy Security Cameras

Crime prevention is everyone’s responsibility; therefore, a fundraiser will be held to raise money for street security cameras to assist the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) in identifying those who would do harm and bring them to justice.  It will feature music by DJ Shabundi and $2 raffle prizes. The prizes will include three days and two nights at a hotel, dinner for two, and more.

Jacqui Naylor to Perform

Jazz vocalist and songwriter Jacqui Naylor will return to Water Island this month and debut songs from her new album, “Q&A.” She will play  at the residence of Alex Randall.  The album will be released world-wide on March 24. Jacqui Naylor will perform with Art Khu on piano and Ken Pendergast on bass. Suggested donation: $10-$20. Ferries will leave from Crown Bay Marina at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Return ferries will be available following the show.

Pistarckle Presents Musical ‘Working’

The musical “Working” is adapted from the book by Studs Terkel, with songs by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manual Miranda, Mary Rodgers and Susan Birkenhead, Stephen Schwartz and James Taylor. There will be eight performances. Play synopsis: The characters in “Working” are non-fictional. The actors deliver monologues and song, and the words in the script are those of real people taken in interviews by Studs Terkel.
