At a young age, he migrated from the vibrant shores of St. Lucia to the beautiful island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, with his father and stepmother, Edris McFarlande. Anthony’s formative years on St. Croix were defined by his unwavering commitment to education, a journey that culminated in his graduation from Saint Joseph Catholic High School.

His entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with a passion for customer service and sales, led him to establish The West Airport Market, a venture that became a beloved institution on St. Croix. His dedication to his customers, coupled with his warm personality, earned him widespread admiration and respect.

Anthony’s ability to connect with people was unparalleled. He genuinely loved engaging with others, and his customers often became friends. His commitment to excellence in service and his entrepreneurial spirit were the hallmarks of his professional life, particularly while working at Cruzan Imports Jewelry.

Yet, his loving nature and patient demeanor truly defined him. Anthony was a devoted father, a role he cherished above all. His love, patience and wisdom were a beacon for his large family, including his five children. He lived his life with simplicity and authenticity, embracing each day with grace and humility.
