Two Men Exit Car, Shoot at Each Other and Flee; None Injured

 

The V.I. Police Department is investigating a Tuesday incident in which two men traded gunshots in Estate Glynn before fleeing the scene.

According to police at 11:27 p.m. Feb. 16 the 911 emergency call center dispatched officers to Sam’s Gas Station in Estate Glynn to a report of shots fired. Officers arrived at the area and learned that two male individuals were shooting at each other.

The investigation into the matter revealed that two males were in a maroon Acura, at the gas station. Both males subsequently exited the vehicle and started shooting at each other from opposite sides of the vehicle. One of the suspects fled the area on foot, while the other suspect fled in the vehicle, which was later found at a residence in Estate Glynn.

No injuries were reported.

Police urged anyone with information on the incident to contact police by calling 911, the Crime TipLine at 340-778-4950, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477, (1-800-222-TIPS).
