Police Arrest STX Woman, Seek Her Boyfriend

The V.I. Police Department on Wednesday morning arrested 34-year-old Michelle Wakefield of Estate Cane Carlton on a warrant charging her with a host of charges related to gunshots being fired on St. Croix.

Wakefield is charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, discharging or aiming a firearm, carrying of firearms openly or concealed, third-degree assault, possession of ammunition and third-degree false reporting.

According to police, Wakefield and her boyfriend, 37-year-old Tony Elizee, discharged a firearm at individuals in the Mount Pleasant West neighborhood, which resulted in damages to homes.

Police also have a warrant for Elizee’s arrest.

Bail for Wakefield was set at $100,000, which she was unable to post. She was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending her advice of rights hearing.
