The V.I. Police Department on Friday arrested Deshawn Charlemagne, a 25-year-old resident of Estate Mount Pleasant on St. Croix, and charged him with a domestic violence assault, the police reported.
According to the VIPD, Charlemagne reportedly choked a family member during a dispute.
The arrest took place at about 8 p.m. Aug. 28, police said. Charlemagne was charged with second-degree assault/domestic violence.
