Ritza DeGout Dies in Washington, D.C.

Ritza DeGout died on March 6, in Washington D.C.

There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 26, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.

Ritza is survived by her husband, John A. DeGout Sr.; her son, John DeGout Jr.; her daughter, Yasmin DeGout; her sister, Donna Morgan; her cousins: Euranice Chesterfield, Linda Lamburtis, Darrell Lamburtis, Georgia Turner, Edwin George, Vivian Faulkner, Alpha Leonard and Vivian Salley; her niece, Erica Donovan.

She is also survived by her brothers-in-law: Benjamin DeGout, Kenneth DeGout, Roy DeGout, Edward DeGout, Stuart DeGout, George Smith and Walter Turner; her sisters-in-law: Lucia Lamburtis, Ruth Smith, Cynthia Smith, Marie Bass, Winnnika DeGout, Denise Hall, Marilyn Creswell, Daphne DeGout and Maribel DeGout; as well as, many more second, third and fourth cousins too numerous to mention.
