STX Man Treated After Being Shot

A St. Croix man was being treated for gunshot injuries at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital after being shot multiple times Friday afternoon in his home in the Adventure Hill area.

According to the V.I. Police Department, at 12:11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, the 911 call center received a report of a shooting victim. At the scene, officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, whose name was not released pursuant to a VIPD policy, told officers he had been assaulted by two unknown black males who approached him at his residence. The victim said one of the individuals pointed a firearm at him and shot him multiple times. The victim was able to flee the area and get to safety. He was transported to the St. Croix hospital for treatment.
