Charlesworth Dixie Jarvis Dies at 68

Charlesworth Dixie Jarvis

Charlesworth Dixie Jarvis — beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, son-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin and friend — died on Sunday, April 22, at the age of 68.

The first viewing will be held on from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, at Turnbullโ€™s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.

The second viewing will be held at 9 am. followed by the service at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 16, at the Wesley Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.

He is survived by his wife, Teresita Jarvis; children: Felix Jarvis, Charlesworth Jarvis Jr., Kevron Jarvis and Nikkita Brown Jarvis; brother, Emanuel โ€œSeckโ€ Jarvis; sisters: Margaret โ€œAudreyโ€ Rayne and Cerine โ€œIotaโ€ Jarvis; mother-in-law, Lucina Torres Turbe; daughters-in-law: Generis Jarvis and Joy Richardson Jarvis; grandchildren: Micah, Isaiah, Micaiah, CeKoya, Ciana, CeKwan, Kerrinique, Azai and Sonaiya Jarvis, Charles Smith III, and Christopher Jr. and Chrisette Wood; and brothers-in-law: Rupert Rayne, Peter Williams, Gilbelto Torres, Ruben Torres, Frankie Tube and Ralph Turbe.

He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Rebecca Jarvis, Alicea Welsh, Nancy Watts, Sonia Torres and Lydia Torres-Scott; nieces: Judith, Cassandra, Lorelie, Charlene, Jeannie, Carol, Connie, Jackley โ€œDawn,โ€ Lorraine, Ella, Berecia, Debbie, Dorothy, Kerie, Sharnette, Akima, Ashana and Jayde; nephews: Wayne, Cyril โ€œCyr,โ€ Everette โ€œSvenโ€ Morris, Pete, Kenford โ€œBoyie,โ€ Robert and Shamoy; special cousins: Eustace Phillip and Samuel โ€œBGโ€ James; special friends: Cecil Forbes, Daril Scott, Members of Imagination Brass, Llewellyn โ€œShortyโ€ and Jason Challenger, JannyB, Arah, Desiree and Veda; as well as many more family and friends too numerous to mention.
