Katherine Ann Turbe, also known as “Kathy,” of St. Thomas died on Monday, Nov 21, at DeKalb Medical Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. She was 53 years old.
Katherine is survived by her children: Gregory Turbe, Kishawn Garvey, LaToya Rabsatt, Tandra Smith and Kishana Garvey; grandchildren: Ta’Quon Rabsatt, Abasia Furet, Mon’ea Grant, K’Nyla Henry, Ezekiel Abbott, Jahvontue, Jahrika, Jaden, Jada, Ricky, Jashire and Bowery, Jasnique Steward and Kwanza Gerald Jr.; and brothers: Charles Turbe and Adolphus Harris. She is also survived by sisters: Lucy Ramsey, Sandra, Lena and Sylvia Harris, Georgia and Marie Berkely; nieces: Chante and Kianna Thomas; nephews: Kenneth Thomas, Rashad Crenshaw, Lenox, Lawrence, Leonard, and Logan Ramsey; great niece, Zoe Thompson; son-in-law, Kefer Smith Sr.; and many cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
The second viewing will be at held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service a 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at Faith Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay. Friends and family will come together to celebrate her life. May Her Soul Rest In Peace.
