Vernon C. George Dies

Vernon C. George A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home for Vernon C. George, who died on Nov. 25.

The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9. The second viewing will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.

He is survived by his brothers: Felix George (USA), George Scarborough (St. Kitts) and Samuel George (St. Kitts); sisters: Kathleen Nisbett (England), Mearl George-Julius (USA) and Vernice Rogers (St. Kitts). brothers-in-law: Calvert Rogers (St. Kitts), Leroy Julius (USA); sisters-in-law: Erlene George and Lillian Scarborough; many nieces and nephews: Bryan Heyliger (USA)/wife Denise Heyliger, Recia George (Nevis), Trisha Rogers (St. Kitts), Denise Stapleton (St. Kitts), Donato Scarborough (St. Kitts), Jacqueline Williams-Morrell (St. Thomas), Cindy De Suza (St. Kitts) and Yakema Daniel (St. Kitts);

He is also survived by cousins: Sheila Williams–Richardson (St. Kitts), Seymour Williams (St. Kitts), Keithly Williams (Boston) and Sandra Merritt (St. Maarten); dear friends: Clifford Thomas, Frances Boynes, Linda Vessup, Joan Franks (St. Kitts), Derrick Fraites (St. Kitts) Denis Matthew, Lionel George, Michelle and David Sylvester and William.

Professional funeral services are entrusted to Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
