Two armed men robbed a Charlotte Amalie jewelry story Monday morning, taking an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry, the V.I. Police Department reported.
According to the police report, at about 11:42 a.m. the 911 emergency center received a report of a robbery at 3G’S Jewelry & Repairs, located along Store Tvaer Gade.
Responding officers received a second call that indicated two male suspects had left the 3G’S Jewelry & Repairs and were walking west along Main Street towards Market Square. A description of the suspects was given, with one male described as dark in complexion and the other with a light complexion.
Both men wore straw hats and were armed with handguns.
No one was injured during the robbery and the pair fled the area with an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry, the police said.
