Carnival Committee Announces Winners

Ny'Kel 'Prince Short Shirt' Emanuel took first place in the intermediate division of the Junior Calypso show..Carnival 2014 has come and gone, and with the burst of fireworks over Charlotte Amalie Saturday night is in the history books.

And those books will show a long list of champions, winners of a variety of traditional Carnival competitions.

Starting in mid-April with the Princess Show, then proceeding through the Queen Selection, the annual Toddlers Derby and Best Dressed Doll contest, Junior Calypso show, Cultural Night, V.I. Calypso show and more, the Carnival lived up to its motto, "The Biggest Fete Ever Seen."
