If you know something, say something. Make sure no crime goes unsolved. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve the following cases.
St. Croix: On Jan 1 at 3:20 a.m., police were dispatched to the Frederiksted Village parking area near Midre Cummings Park where they found the body of 27-year-old Francisco Rivera lying on the pavement. It is believed Rivera was shot after being in an altercation with another person as he was standing near his vehicle. There have been three homicides on St. Croix this year. Your help has made it possible for a suspect to be arrested in one of them. Let’s get the perpetrators of the other two; make that call.
St. John: Sometime after closing on Feb. 25 and reopening on Feb. 26, Ship Wreck landing in Coral Bay was burglarized by someone who pried open the safe and removed more than $10,000 in cash, plus all the credit card receipts. Help police identify and arrest the burglar(s) by telling us what you know.
St. Thomas: On Dec. 27, 2013, about 9:25 p.m., 51-year-old Alwyn Cornelius Samuel of Estate Nadir was walking home. As he arrived at his gate a masked, black male was exiting his yard. He rushed Samuel and a scuffle ensued. During the scuffle the victim was shot twice and died. The suspect then fled. Tell us what you know so police can identify and arrest the killer.
