St. Thomas Detainee Escapes from BOC Custody

Raheem Creque, a 36-year-old black male detainee from the V.I. Bureau of Corrections’ Criminal Justice Complex, was found to be missing following a shift change and count at approximately 4 p.m. Thursday.
St. Thomas Warden Gilbert David announced Creque’s escape Thursday evening. He said the Bureau of Corrections, the V.I. Police Department and other law enforcement entities are actively seeking to apprehend the escaped detainee.
Creque is 6’1” and 220 pounds. He has a dark complexion, black hair worn cropped and brown eyes. He is a resident of Hospital Ground.
Prior to his escape, Creque was being detained on a sexual offense charge (see links below).
