Elbert Martin Dies at 62

Elbert Martin, also known as "King Yol," of Green Street Gallows Bay died on Aug. 9 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Medical Center. He was 62 years old.
He is survived by his sister, Larencia Richardson; brothers: Cyril and Ohanio Martin; nieces: Vertalyn Quals, LaVerne Stout, Natalie and Nicole Martin; nephews: Gary Mason, George King, Henry Jeffers, Cyril Martin Jr., and Larenso, Orlando, Rolando, Wilbert and Hubert Martin; special friend, Naomi "Sandra" Joseph; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, at Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
