CAHS Plans to Re-issue Diplomas to Class of 2013

Members of the Charlotte Amalie High School’s 2013 graduating class are advised that their diplomas and pocket-diplomas are in the process of being re-issued.
Diplomas issued during last week’s graduation ceremony on St. Thomas were printed prior to the resignation of the former education commissioner, and currently bear her name and signature. The diplomas are currently being re-printed to reflect a change in the signature line.
It is mandatory that the 2013 graduates return the old diplomas and pocket-diplomas. Students will receive the new diplomas and pocket-diplomas at no additional cost. They are expected to be on island in July, and once they arrive, students will be asked to come in and exchange the old ones. An additional public notice will be sent out at that time.
The administrators and staff at CAHS thank the public for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
For more information, call the school at 774-0780.
