Good Hope School's Jaleel Christopher Accepted to West Point

Good Hope School senior Jaleel Christopher will be presented his Presidential Appointment Certificate to the United States Military Academy at West Point at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the Friedensberg Moravian Church.
Delegate to Congress Donna Christiansen, who nominated Christopher to the president for acceptance to the academy, will be on hand to present him the certificate in front of friends and family.
Christopher will be graduating from the Good Hope School on June 1. He attended the West Point Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) in the summer of 2012.
He has been accepted to several other universities to include: The University of Pittsburgh, University of North Georgia, Georgia Regents University, Mercer University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, University of Pittsburgh, The Citadel and The United States Air Force Academy. He made the decision to attend The United States Military Academy, West Point, as this was always his first choice.
Christopher is the child of Virgin Islands National Guard Chaplain Capt. Dion Christopher.
