Police on St. Thomas arrested Raphael James, 52 after a fight near a bar.
According to police, James was near the Francis Bar on Brookman Road when he struck another man in the head with a beer bottle and punched him in his face several times.
James was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Friday and charged with thrid-degree assault. Bail was set at $25,000.
