According to a press release issued Tuesday by the Department of Human Services, the Division of Senior Citizens Affairs has relocated most of their programs to a new office space near the lobby entrance of the Knud Hansen Complex:
• Senior Community Service Employment Program
• Therapeutic Recreation/Socio-Recreation
• Retired Senior Volunteer Program
• Foster Grandparent Program
The offices of Adult Protective Services, Homemaker Services and the Family Caregiver Support Program will remain in their current location on the main floor. The Information and Referral Service and State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program offices will temporarily close on June 14 and 15 to complete the move. Services will resume at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 18. The Nutrition Assistance Program (Meals on Wheels) will move its office at a later date.
