Police Host Youth Arts and Crafts Workshop

The V.I. Police Department’s Christiansted Bike Unit is hosting a Community Youth Arts and Crafts Workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Comanche Hotel Boardwalk in Christiansted. The department teamed up with the Christiansted Restaurant and Retail Association for the event.

The Arts and Crafts Workshop gives youths an opportunity to interact with local police officers while making creative and interesting crafts from basic materials. The officers look forward to this opportunity to make a positive impression on the youth as they express their creativeness.

The workshop is part of the Police Department’s ongoing effort to interact with the public in an effort to strengthen positive police community relations.
