The Triple Play Triathlon will be held at Cramers Park on April 1, featuring three different races: an Olympic Distance, a Sprint Distance triathlon and a Try-a-Tri distance. The Olympic Distance race will begin with a two loop 1500-meter swim, followed by an out and back 25-mile bike ride along the South Shore of St. Croix, and finish with a two-loop, 6-mile run. The Sprint race will include a .5-mile one-loop swim, a 12.5-mile tour along the South Shore as well and a 3-mile loop of Cramers Park and the surrounding roads. The Try-a-Tri will start with a 300-yard swim, followed by a 6.5-mile bike and 1.5-mile run. A relay event will be held for the Olympic Distance only.
All races will start at 7 am. The Olympic Distance race will be a scoring race for the V.I. Triathlon Federation point series.
Entry forms can be picked up at Stamina Sports, located at 4A Orange Grove in the old Bingo Building. All athletes are asked to pre-register.
