CMC Arts Offers Student Exhibit: “Art Shapes the World”

In celebration of Youth Art Month, the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts will open the exhibit “Art Shapes the World “on Saturday, March 3. Works of K-12 students from public and private schools on the island will be on display. A reception will be held on Saturday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the museum. Refreshments will be served and admission is free.
The free exhibit will span both the upstairs and downstairs gallery, and it will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays and all other cruise ship days through March 31. The public is invited to attend. It is funded in part by the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts is located on the waterfront at 10 Strand Street in Frederiksted.
