Alfred Valdemar Davis Sr., also known as “Freco,” died on Dec. 21 at Roy L. Schneider Medical Center. He was 90 years old.
He is survived by his sons: Alfred Davis, Jr. (Maryland) John Davis (Maryland) Neville Davis (St. Thomas) and Marvin Davis (Maryland); daughters: Jean Phaire (Maryland) and Colleen Fahie (Maryland); brother, Lionel Davis (St. Thomas); sisters: Edris Jackson (St. Thomas) and Asilia White (New York); sons-in-law: Rodell Phaire Sr. (Maryland) and Nathaniel Hunter (Marlyand); sister-in-law, Doris Davis (St. Thomas); 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be held on from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The second viewing will be held at 10:30 a.m. and a funeral service at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be in the Eastern Cemetery.
