Helping Others in a Positive Environment Inc. (Hope Inc.) will hold its third annual Turkey Give-a-Way from Nov. 15-18 on all three islands. It will be teaming up with the Women’s Coalition, the Men’s Coalition, and other local agencies and businesses to provide the main dish at more than 200 households in the Virgin Islands while bringing awareness of preventable diseases that affect the community.
To qualify for a free medium-sized turkey, bring a friend and get tested for at least one preventable disease (hypertension, diabetes) along with an HIV test. There will be free screenings and health prevention services and information.
