Larell Adina Scatliff, better known as “Miss Adina,” “Nenie,” “Aunt Larell” and “Aunt Adina,” died on May 26. She was born on May 17, 1911, and died at 100 years old.
She is survived by her sister, Blanche Blyden; special nieces: Agnes E. Donovan, Eugenie Donovan Glasgow, Bernice Donovan, Pacita Donovan; special great niece, Dominga Donovan Francis; special nephews: Elroy Donovan and Calvin Donovan; special great nephew, Darwin Donovan; many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews; special godchildren: Ilka Webster, Tyrone Brunn, Judy Gomez; special friends: Gorda Roebuck, Marilyn Kreke, Pat Nickleson Jones, Elodia Fenner; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at Nisky Moravian Church. Interment will be at Nisky Moravian Cemetery.
