Federal and Local Law Enforcement Announce Recruitment and Career Day

Law Enforcement professionals will hold a federal and local law enforcement agencies recruitment and career day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm. on Thursday, April 7, at the UVI Sports Center on St. Thomas and on Friday, April 8, at the Evans Center – UVI campus on St. Croix.
This is an opportunity to meet those working in the law enforcement field and a chance to talk with human resource representatives as well as recruiters from seven law schools.
Law enforcement offers exciting and fulfilling career opportunities, with advances in forensic technology and an ever-evolving legal landscape. The jobs offer excellent health insurance, retirement and career benefits.

Careers in law enforcement encompass a myriad of jobs that typically welcome individuals with educational and professional backgrounds in criminology, criminal justice, political science, psychology, social work, IT, engineering, and other liberal arts and science disciplines.
Law Enforcement Career Day is not limited to recent or soon to be college graduates; it is open to the public. Admission is free. Over 23 agencies are taking part with representatives from DEA, FBI, IRS,
ICE, VIPD, DPNR, TSA,VI DOJ, BOC, VIPA, TCC, USPIS, Superior Court,
National Park Service, U.S. Marshal Service, U.S. Attorney’s Office and
others available to answer questions.
