DHS Holds Meeting on Revised Regulations for Childcare Facilities

The Department of Human Services Office of Childcare and Regulatory Services will host an informational meeting regarding compliance with the revised rules and regulations for all persons who work with children age birth to 14 in formal childcare facilities, after-school programs and summer camps. Child care directors are strongly encouraged to attend.
The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, at the Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged on St. Croix. The second meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, at the Head Start building in Sugar Estate on St. Thomas. Each meeting will be held from 6:30-7:30 pm.
The new rules and regulations will be available on the DHS Web site at www.dhs.gov.vi on April 1.
