Josephine Joseph Dies at 86

Josephine Joseph
Josephine Joseph, also known as "Nen Vone” or “Verona," formerly of St. Lucia but who last resided at Lorraine Village, died on Nov. 19, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Marylen Joseph; sons: Peter and Cyprian Joseph; grandchildren: Deliah Hills, Hannah Matthew, Carl, Allan, Lorne, Micah, Wyn, Jamal, Danielle and Carlan Joseph; daughters-in-law: Augustina and Lydia Joseph; nieces: Annie James, Francisca Abbie Doriney, Madelene Oscar, Bertha Oscar and Crescenta Oscar; and nephews: Cyprian Theodore, Justin Oscar, Joseph Oscar and Alfred Oscar.
She is also survived by great nieces: Luciana, Sandra, Cindy, Sansha, Shermian, Narsha, Quinny and Socari; great nephews: Peter, Paul, Lance, Sebastian, Taion, Glen, Andy and Brian; cousins and other relatives: Joseph, Oscar, Charlery, Hippolyte, Serieux, the Augustine families of Micoud and Mon-Repos; special friends: Michelle Oscar, Joseph Doriney, Andrea St. Agathe, Marie Lawrence, Elizabeth Norbert, Margaret and Francisca George, Miss Normie, Winnie Johnson, Cypriana Celestin and the M.W.H. Church family of St. Croix; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. and be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
