Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these crimes.

St. Croix: In recent days, there have been several arrests of adult males for sexual assaults on females under the age of 18. If you have information or knowledge of a young person being sexually assaulted, please tell us, and assist our law enforcement agencies to find and prosecute these predators. The next victim could be your child. The minimum reward is $900, plus the satisfaction of helping to end the harm that sexual molestation is doing to our young.

St. John: On the weekend of Oct. 16, the Gifft Hill School was burglarized, with $4,000 in cash taken. This is an attack against our youngsters, and we must protect our schools from such attacks. The minimum reward for the arrest of a burglar is $714, plus 10% of any cash or property recovered.

St. Thomas: On Nov. 20 at 3:56 a.m., police received a report of shots fired in the parking lot adjacent to Wendy’s restaurant. Upon arrival, police discovered that two individuals were shot. One was identified as Aqueel Abdullah, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. A red Ford F-150 pickup truck was seen speeding from the scene. Help us identify the occupants of that vehicle and rid our island of such vicious criminals. The minimum reward for the arrest of a homicide suspect is $1,500.

Please continue to help law enforcement make our territory a safer place to live, work and raise a family by telling us what you know about these or any other crimes at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Your tips are completely anonymous, and the stateside operators are multilingual. If a tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs, or weapons, the tipster receives a cash reward to be paid according to their instructions. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.
