Outdoor Math Featured at Sibilly School’s Final Family Math Night

Parents of students attending the Joseph Sibilly Elementary School are reminded of the upcoming Family Math Night from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 22. “This is our final Family Math Night for the school year and we are featuring outdoor math activities,” said Principal Habtes.

The activities are designed to provide fun strategies to learning mathematics that can be enjoyed by the entire family, and staff will be on hand to offer assistance to all participants. Sydney Bell and Leslie Rockstein will be conducting outdoor games such as marbles, hopscotch and a gigantic human game board. Judith Donadelle and students will show parents how to play games and win prizes using the computer. Raymond Smith will demonstrate how to make memorizing a fun activity through songs. It is going to be a lot of fun learning and winning prizes, too.
For more information, contact the school at 774-7001.
