Ray Ricardo Schrader of Queen Street, Christiansted, died on Oct. 22. He was 62 years old.
He is survived by his son, Ray Ricardo Schrader Jr.; grandchildren: Rapuan Lee Schrader and Umant Schrader; sisters: Eugenie Williams Samuel and Lucinda Schrader; and brothers: Henry James and Darwin Schrader. He is also survived by brother-in-law, St. Clair Samuel; nephew-in-law, Stephen Amadee; nieces: Shirley Richards, Yvonne Samuel and Tywana Hale Amadee; great niece, Delicia Wesslehoft; great-great niece, Taysiah Heidmann; nephews: Wayne Samuel, Sean Hale and Joseph Lewis Jr; great nephews: Glenn and D’Wayne Wesslehoft, Khariff Martineau and Jaheem Samuel; aunt, Mary Boyce; and uncle, David Boyce. Other survivors include cousins and other relatives: Olga Santiago, Maude Cornelius, Ganell Turner, Alfreda and Reba Elliage, Emanuel Turner, Barbra and Eleanor Turner and Timothy Heidmann Sr. and their families; special friends: Daisy Paul, Thomas Cassimeer, Lawrence Nielson, George Allen, Robert Richards, Sylvester Gerald, Reggie Donovan, Sydney Thompson, Elton Challenger, Emerson Williams, Milo C. Lynch, Jimmy Jay, Rosenel Brown and Glenn Wesslehoft Sr.; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
