The Department of Human Services invites proprietors of nonprofit organizations to an informational meeting about funding opportunities from federal and local sources. The trainings will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on:
Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the St. Croix Cardiac Center
Thursday, Nov. 19, at the St. Thomas Head Start Center in Sugar Estate
Friday, Nov. 20, at the Cruz Bay Battery Office
Information about benefit programs to assist clients with access to TANF, SNAP (aka Food Stamps), Medicaid, WIC, Unemployment and other cash or health assistance programs will be provided. Registration forms are available at the Department of Human Services main office on St. Thomas at the Knud Hansen Complex and on St. Croix in the commissioner’s office, Vitraco Building in Golden Rock.
Completed registrations forms can be delivered to either main office, faxed to Mrs. Warrington at 774-3466, or e-mailed to vinonprofitmangament@yahoo.com.
