Nana Evadney Matthias Mulcare, better known as “Evadney” or “Vadeny,” died on Sept. 29, at the Queen Louise Home for the Aged on St. Thomas. She was 92 years old.
She is survived by special nephews: Ishmael Meyers and Ira Christian; grandchildren: Monife Stout and Myron Mulcare; great-grandchildren: Yaja, Zche’Lani and Mylea Mulcare; and other friends and family too numerous to mention. She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Mateo Mulcare.
There will be a viewing held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, at Memorial Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Moravian Cemetery.
