While the US Senate dialogues on an Apology for Slavery to "African-Americans" & debates on paying any restitution or compensation owed; as the earth community mourns the untimely death of Br. Michael Jackson & others – may they rest in peace; as the UN General Assembly supports indigenous people’s rights and glosses over the UN Permanent Forum of Afrakan descendants; as Americans celebrate the 233rd commemoration of Independence Day while Indigenous Native Ameridians remain on the quest for justice; as the US-bought and unincorporated territory of the Virgin Islands celebrates the 161st commemoration of Emancipation Day absent of equitable federal status while struggling & litigating for a VI constitution; as descendents of overseers & slave-drivers serve as neocolonial leaders of liberation, emancipation & acts of freedom while the people suffer; as every 9.5 minutes someone is infected with HIV in America while global stigma, denial and STDs run rampant in our communities; as sex slaves continue to be raped, tortured, murdered and made "invisible" from their homes in Africa and underdeveloped regions for export & market primarily into European nations; as Americans have to lobby, fight & prematurely die for universal health care while millions are wasted on HMOs and private care for the rich; as holistic living & wellness are prevented from preventing healing of our nations by pharmaceutical drug barons financing most governments; as America continues to spend billions of taxpayer dollars monthly to support global war in the name of democracy; as America’s current economic recession is hidden as democratic freedoms are reduced and liberties along with human & civil rights are silently stripped away before all of humanity to witness and see; as American leaders justify giving irresponsible, deceitful and corrupt corporations nearly a trillion dollars on the sweat, blood, labor and tears of our present and future generations incurring this historic debt; as resource-rich Africa continues to be punished with poverty, disease, genocidal wars and underdevelopment; as nations/territories of the Caribbean survive the paradise-driven tourism economic focus absent of preservation & sustainability that overwhelms & dismantles traditional culture & values often at the cost of our humanity and existence; as religious & faith based groups, at least some of them, continue to claim exclusivity to the Creator we all share, give praise & adoration to; as we pray for life, strength, wellness & prosperity and cease the unrighteous preying upon and prying into one another; as we align ourselves, at least some of us, to the restoration of our humanity beyond the obstacles of "gomopofa" [gold, money, power, fame] to save our air, earth, fire, water and spirit for our future generations at the cost of the basic necessities of reaping the fruits of our labor; as we evolve beyond our struggles for exemption from intellectual rape, slanderous character assassinations, economic exploitation, thievery of our life-sustaining resources, IRS threats of our civil liberties, institutional racism and all that comes with these gifts of "civilization & optimal development"; as we reflect upon all the imbalances influencing our earth community, our environment and the unity we collectively claim through religion, ethnicity, purpose, tradition, geography and more that has us all at the brink of extinction; as we unite our voices to express our displeasure of prisoners of politics, injustice, oppression & inhumanity like the hostile detainment of ex-Congresswoman & 2008 Green Party Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney & others of the "Spirit of Humanity" by Israeli military forces; as we are the ones we have awaited willing to do the lifework of Love, Inspiration, Virtue, Edification, Unity and Positivity – Live up; as we move forward to strengthen our principled unity to ascend the survival of our global communities with maatikal coherence; as we resurrect our collective respect for indigenous people – especially our women and children – of Afraka, Amerika, Asia, Europe & beyond; May our global humanity unify & organize to restore & heal our ancestral, native, traditional, contemporary and genuine humanity in these "last days" & times of harsh trials and tribulations; May we take a moment during these "holidays" of independence, emancipation, liberation, freedom, justice, pursuit of happiness, loyalty and joy for "all" and reflect upon the hellacaust realities affecting each and everyone of us.
