Fraternity to Host 'Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College' Seminar

Iota Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. will host a "Go-to-High School, Go-to-College" seminar, which is geared towards young males between ages 13 and 18. The seminar will be held from 8:35 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 4, at the Virgin Islands Cardiac Care Center conference room.
The program concentrates on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement. Statistics prove the value of this extra impetus in making the difference in the success of young African-American men. School completion is the single best predictor of future economic success. Through this educational initiative, young men receive information and learn strategies that facilitate success.
