Reichhold Shows Academy Award-Nominated Film: 'Trouble the Water'

Feb. 14, 2009 – "Trouble the Water," an Academy Award-nominated documentary about Hurricane Katrina, will premiere at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, at Reichhold Center for the Arts. The screening will raise funds for UVI scholarships.
After the movie, a discussion on Hurricane Katrina will be lead by several volunteers who went to the Gulf Coast and saw the aftermath firsthand.
By the producers of "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11," the film is an Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary feature and the winner of the Grand Jury Prize: Best Documentary 2008 at the Sundance Film Festival.
The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for students; the price of admission includes popcorn and a soda (pizza, wine, beer and soda will be sold at the concession stand).
