Feb. 7, 2009 — Elvis W. Stapleton, also known as Steve Brow and Simon Stapleton, is wanted by police on St. Croix on charges of aggravated rape in the first degree, child abuse and disturbance of the peace by threats (domestic violence) in connection with acts committed on an underage female minor.
Stapleton is 45 years old, between 5-feet 4-inches and 5-feet 7-inches in height, and weighs between 110 and 156 pounds. He has a clean-shaven head, brown eyes and a dark complexion.
Stapleton is known to frequent the Lorraine Village Apartments in Grove Place.
