Alert: Service Interruption to Feeder No. 6 Set for Saturday

Jan. 28, 2009 — A small section of Feeder No. 6 will be without service from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday while line crews install new poles and reconstruct a three-phase line damaged by Hurricane Omar, according to a news release from the V.I. Water and Power Authority.
The affected area includes the Blue Mountain communications tower and equipment area and several adjacent plots in Estate Mon Bijou. Drivers are asked to use extreme caution while in the work area.
"Every effort will be made to complete the work and restore service as soon as possible," the release said.
