How interesting. Lots of things all set up in St. Thomas to celebrate the Inauguration of Barack Obama. Here on St. Croix, a nice fundraiser for the Cardiac Center but not until 8pm. On Friday, there was a sudden rush to try to put things together to make a great celebration for us and for our visitors coming in on the cruise ship. All I can do is shake my head and wonder What are we thinking! If folks in St. Thomas can plan in advance so can we. Do we, the people of St. Croix, truly want more cruise ships and tourists? We need to be much more proactive in what we are planning, then make certain those plans are put into place.
