Jan. 8, 2009 – Eshra Edwin Alphonse died on Jan. 3, at his residence. He was 57 years old.
He is survived by his daughters: Monica and Consula Edwards, Julien and Doana Kerr; sons: Donovan and Michael Carr; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters: Joycelyn George, Ira Boucher, Theresa Vasquez, Luciana Alphonse, Polly Joseph, Carol Cadogan, Elizabeth Alphonse and Edmay Jean-Pierre; brother, Allan Alphonse; sister-in-law, Lena Alphonse; brother-in-law, Cornelius Jean-Pierre; cousins: Gregory, Albert, Fita, Delores and Junie; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m., and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 16, at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
