Caribbean Community Theatre will hold its A&E @ CCT event on Saturday, Dec. 6. The evening will begin with an art show at 6 p.m., featuring works by local artists: Nathan Bishop, Tom Eimer, Kathie Fraederich, Barbara Gelardi, Yemaya Jones, Rodger Nickell and Stephanie Schoyer. They will present a collection of original paintings, photographs, jewelry, woodturnings and other artwork. For the craft-conscious, Sylvia Brady will have her "Island Angels" on sale, and Lee Ann Robson will be selling her popular beach glass jewelry and tree ornaments. In addition, Kathie Fraederich will be selling her purses made from recycled clothing and material.
Live entertainment, beginning at 8 p.m., will feature singer and pianist Becky Bass, as well as performances by other actors, poets, singers and musicians.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and there will be a cash bar. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served in the courtyard, and everyone is encouraged to bring his or her specialty dish to share.
