Nov. 10, 2008 – Herbert David Thomas of Mount Pleasant died on Nov. 4, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 69 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Laurel Thomas; daughters: Beverly James, Barbara Wehner and Cleo Woods; sons: Jason, Randy and Dexter Thomas; grandchildren: Jermaine James, Andre Woods, Jahmel Wehner, Jameel, Iyhana, Kiana and Briana Thomas; and great-grandchild, Amari James. He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Darolyn Thomas; sons-in-law: Eustace James, John Wehner and Carlos Woods; sisters: Alberdore Lloyd, Ruth Nathaniel, Etacer Conor, Linda Watson and Iola Roberts; brother, Lenroy Thomas; special friends: Cynthia Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Reginol Pigott, Velma and Glenford James, Loretta and Elsworth Jones, Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas, Julio Carrion, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonardo Carrion; cousin, Douglas; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at noon, on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Beulah A.M.E. Zion Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
