Oct. 24, 2008 – Maria C. King of Fisher Street died on Oct. 18, at her residence. She was 88 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Ina King-Isaac; sons: George E. King Jr. and Roy B. King; grandchildren: Eric King, Dale King, Raquel King-Turange, Chermaine Felix, Cory King, Chawn Felix, Chevron Felix, Chauneey Felix and Cherisse Isaac-Wilson; and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by daughters-in-law: Doris King and Estelina McDuffie-King; son-in-law, Eustace Isaac; caregiver: Louise James, June Rawlins and Donna; special friends: Cheryl King, Rebecca James, Albert and Marie Schuster, and AnnaRose Charles; cousins: Glenwood Coggins and Wilfred Tuitt; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Tuesday Oct. 28, at St. John's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
