Sept. 11, 2008 – Health Department clinics at the Schneider Regional Medical Center were forced to close Thursday afternoon because of a malfunctioning air-conditioning unit, a release from the department said. .
Community Health, Dental and Immunization clinics closed at 1 p.m. Thursday. The clinics will open half-day on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with plans to resume normal hours on Monday, Sept. 15, once repairs are completed by the hospital. Clients, however, should check with respective clinics to make sure that services will be offered or to reschedule appointments by calling (340) 774-7477.
