July 25, 2008 – Government Hill will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. – noon, on Friday, July 25.
“The closing of the road to vehicular traffic is necessary to facilitate the installation of an overhead communication cable between Government House and the building which houses the offices of the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority,” said Government House Communications Director Jean P. Greaux Jr.
Government House is working with Innovative Telephone to minimize the period of time that the roadway will be closed to vehicular traffic as this upgrade in communications facilities takes place.
